PAST PROJECTS FOR 2010 09/22/2010 French Creek Playground Improvement Project The Education Foundation is providing funds to the school to support a safe and fully accessible play area at French Creek Elementary School.  05/27/2010 Books with a Beat High school student s will read poetry and books about music as well as enjoy books on audio-tape (purchased by the Education Foundation) to celebrate the American Library Association’s Teen Read Week. 05/19/2010 Recorder Karate Program at North Coventry and East Vincent Grant provides funds for materials to support a differentiated approach to teaching recorders in the general music classroom for 4th, 5th and 6th grades. 05/17/2010 Drama Club at East Coventry Grant provides funding for the script, royalty fees, and supplies for the drama club which will produce a holiday play or musical and a spring play or musical. 03/08/2010 Raised Vegetable Bed Project at East Coventry The Education Foundation is providing funds for supplies needed for several raised bed vegetable gardens to be used primarily by the kindergarten students. |
