A live auction of “Senor Burro”, the Cook-Off Mascot that was made by OJR HS Art Students for the 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off was a highlight of the evening. Dr. Joel DiBartolomeo outbid all others and is the proud new owner of the donkey. We expect that “Senor Burro” will re-appear at various times in various places throughout the district.
The Owen J. Roberts Education Foundation Board of Directors expresses sincere appreciation to all who helped make this event a success. Funds raised will be used for the teacher mini-grant program that supports the district goal of a world class education for every student.
