The Foundation has established a goal of raising $30 per student from our fundraising events and the following giving opportunities for individuals and businesses in order to support our programs.

Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC):

The OJREF is an approved Educational Improvement Organization in Pennsylvania. Businesses must be authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of PA; be subject to taxes such as Corporate Net Income Tax, Capital Stock Franchise Tax, Bank and Trust Company Shares Tax, etc; and be approved by the State to make contributions under this program.

Under the EITC program, a “contribution” from a business is a donation of cash or the net cost of donated personal property or services. For more details please visit the EITC website:

Partnership in Fundraising with the OJREF :

The Foundation welcomes partnership venture opportunities with local businesses willing to offer a product/service to us to use as a fundraiser. This is a great way to increase you businesses exposure to a large block of area consumers.

There are many support opportunities for individuals, including :

Friend of the Foundation :
Friend of the Foundation donations are general donations that afford the Foundation Board flexibility to allocate funds, as necessary, to support our programs or Foundation administration. These donations are also a perfect way to honor a friend or relative with a gift for the future that supports education in the OJR School District.

Staff Tribute :
The Staff Tribute Program is a way for the community to show their appreciation for the hard work, dedication and commitment of the teachers and staff members that have had a positive impact on their child’s education. This is a bi-annual giving campaign held during the Holiday Season and at the end of the year. Staff Tribute donations directly fund the district wide Classroom Mini-Grant Program.

Walk of Fame Bricks :
Honor someone special with a personalized brick in the district’s "Walk of Fame".

Wildcat Blend :
The Foundation, in partnership with the Kimberton Coffee Roasters, is offering ½ pound bags of our own Wildcat Blend of coffee. If you haven’t tried their coffee, let our Wildcat Blend be your introduction to this local gourmet coffee roaster’s product and help the Foundation bring innovative programs to our classrooms.

The coffee is available in whole bean or ground and costs $10 per bag. Over 40% of the cost of a bag of coffee goes to funding our Classroom Mini-Grant program. If you’d like to order Wildcat Blend, please complete an order form
